CatConnector RACING

The CatConnector RACING is a fixture, especially made for catamarans. It is made of high performance webbing and only best parts. It connects front and backside beam of the catamaran and leads all forces of the kite directly into the boat. The suspension device of the CatConnector is similar to a traveller, that can be moved along the longitudinal axis of the boat. The big difference to the Cruising edition is that you are able to move the suspension device whileriding the boat. This is a very big advantage, becauseyou are able to trimthe point of load in coordination with the position of the kite and the course you ride. The possibility to trim while riding is not only important for racing, but also a lot more comfort for the riders. It helps you to reduce rudder forces and optimise speed. This is not very complicateted. Moving the point forward and the boat will turn on a little more downwind course. Moving backward, the boat will run upwind a lot better. But it doesn‘t only make sense, it is also a lot more fun for you an your rudder man, because there is one more job on the boat.

CatConnector CRUISING

The CatConnector CRUISING is a fixture, especially made for catamarans. It is made of high performance webbing and only best parts. It connects front and backside beam of the catamaran and leads all forces of the kite directly into the boat. The suspension point of the CatConnector CRUISING can be moved along the longitudinal axis of the boat before riding. This Feature gives you the possibility to improve the point of load in coordination with the main position of the kite and the main course. This helps you to reduce rudder forces and improve speed. Moving the point closer tot he frontside beam to and the boat will turn on a little more downwind course. Moving away from the frontside beam will improve upwind performance.onnector Cruising und dem Connectorring des WingCommanders.

EasyConnector

The EasyConnector is the most simple and universal way to connect WingCommander and Boat. Using it with a catamaran, the EasyConnector has to be wound arround the Frontside beam. The EasyConnector can be adjusted to different size of beams by a included stainless steel cam buckle. Before using the EasyConnector, you have to remove a mast step that protrude wide beyond the frontside beam, to reduce the danger of a collision between WingCommander and mast step while riding a jibe.

In addition, the EasyConnector can also be used with other kind of boats. For example you can use it in connection with a centrally located point of load. Something like a clamp or deck eyes.

Attention: Before using load points like deck eyes , clamps and others, make sure that they can stand all the kite forces.

Monohull Connector Cruising

Der Monohull Connector Cruising ist eine Bootsanbindung speziell für Einrumpfboote bis zu einer Breite von 2,20m. Er besteht aus einem Connector-Kit und dem Cruising-Traveller. Der Connector-Kit wird zwischen den Wantenaufhängungen verspannt und leitet die Kräfte des Kites über diese Aufhängepunkte ins Boot ab. Die Verbindung erfolgt über die mitgelieferten Anschluss-Schlaufen. Ein Traveller-System dient als beweglicher Aufhängepunkt für den Wingcommander und ermöglicht somit auch das Kiteboating mit schmaleren Booten. Der Travellerweg kann über zwei Adjusterleinen auf die Bootsbreite eingestellt werden. Dabei gilt: Je breiter das Boot, desto geringer der notwendige Travellerweg. Die gesamte Installation des Connector-Kits dauert nur wenige Minuten.
