It is the propulsion unit for controlling the kite.
The demanding control tasks are performed entirely electronically, making operation simple and manageable for anyone.
Compact powerhouse: The WingCommander is the world’s most compact propulsion system for boats.
Energy-saving drive technology: The WingCommander’s drive technology is optimized for minimal energy consumption.
The line system, specially optimized for yachting, allows the kite to be launched even in light winds and to operate efficiently at windier altitudes of up to 80 meters.
The operating height of up to 80 meters and the ability to perform active flight maneuvers significantly increase performance, allowing the kite to deliver up to ten times the power of a conventional sail of the same size.
Easy inboard and outboard installation:
The WingCommander is easily installed by bolting it to the deck. Under certain conditions, integration into the boat’s structure is also possible.
The heart of the WingCommander is the remote control.
This device processes all control commands and sends them to the CPU unit’s radio module.
The kite can be controlled manually via joystick or through the integrated autopilot. The intuitive layout of the controls ensures easy operation.
The WingCommander can be operated from any position on the boat using the controller.
The WingCommander can be used with most kites available on the market. By upgrading the system with the Force Control, you can also use the much more powerfull Voyager Kites.
For longer distances, the autopilot will take over control that can also be executed manually. It will also fly pre-defined flight figures that can also be manually optimized by you.
The autopilot has two different flight modes.
Lying Eight: to generate the maximum power.
Zenith: Sets the screen automatically to the zenith of the boat and keeps it there.
It raises the attachment point of the lines above rail height and transfers the loads safely into the ship's structure through the rigging.
